is a community-based, not-for-profit corporation whose objective is to encourage local entrepreneurship and economic development. PELA CFDC specializes in providing business loans, grants, and training.




Our team of experienced professionals also delivers free business counseling services, information and statistical analysis, and connections to our network of entrepreneurs, investors, and community groups. We are also active in rural policy, research, and knowledge dissemination.


Established in 1987 and expanding to Lennox and Addington in 2001, PELA CFDC is business-driven, governed by a board of local volunteers, and partially funded by the Government of Canada.
